It was a long journey of more than four decades, started with only friend and passion that I will take the profession at its best in the world. Pakistan Occupational Therapy Association was a milestone of this journey. Starting with only a couple of members, by the grace of God, now we are team of more than hundred professionals, with international standing and now enforcing our roots to grab its position strongly in the National health sector.
I feel proud to announce this platform to my professionals of today, yesterday and future. Keep the integrity of your profession intact and be proud to be an Occupational therapist.

Over the decades of hardships and endless efforts Pakistan Occupational Therapy Association, accomplished full member status at World Federation of Occupational Therapists in 1996, is announcing its National website. It gives me immense pleasure to write few words of true reflection of my feelings and share the experience of all these years. Firstly, congratulations to all the worthy members of POTA who make up this association an ASSOCIATION. For them to have access to all information regarding POTA and its activities will now be only a click away. Please bear in mind that this was not an easy task. It was the untiring and dedicated effort of few members of management team under the able guidance of Madam Nighat Lodhi, the very first Pakistani to head the mother institute at JPMC and the founder member of POTA.
Couple of members with no volunteers and finances had prolonged the journey to decades for national standing as association. Despite many efforts over the years, it has been a two member affair only struggling to survive, but we never gave up with the hope that we will succeed. By the grace of God, now we are in a position to assure you all that we have DONE it and with your support the prospects will remain bright.
Thank you all
